CROMACH are delighted to welcome environmentalist, activist, and Goldman Environmental Prize winner Howard Wood (OBE) to our next Speaker Series talk.
Howard co-founded Arran Coast and helped establish Scotland’s first No-Take Zone in Lamlash Bay, a remarkable example of grassroots marine conservation that gives local citizens a voice and empowers communities to shape the future of their marine environment.
He will also share an exclusive preview of the Emmy-nominated Hope in the Water, which features the story of COAST. The series explores the importance of sustainable seafood, with contributions from well-known advocates such as Shailene Woodley and Martha Stewart.
